Dr. Calder was raised in Provo, Utah and graduated from Brigham Young University with a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience in 2002. He received both a master’s degree from Tulane’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in Statistics and International Health and his medical degree from Tulane University Medical Center in 2009. Following medical school, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Wayne State University based in Detroit, Michigan in 2014.
Dr. Calder then completed a fellowship in Orthopedic Trauma in 2015 at the University of Oklahoma and has since joined the Orthopedic & Trauma Services of Oklahoma group practice. He has a faculty appointment at The University of Oklahoma College of Community Medicine, Tulsa and continues his academic involvement with the trauma fellowship and OSU residents.
